Chipping Sodbury Festival Gravel Ride

This is a big departure from the guided cycles rides we usually enjoy at Chipping Sodbury Festival. In addition to the 30-mile road ride, this year we have planned an unsupported 40-mile gravel ride for you to enjoy alone or with a small group of friends.

The ride sets off from Chipping Sodbury Town Hall Car Park in Wickwar Road and follows a scenic route through the quiet lanes, farm tracks, byways and bridle paths, also taking in the Courtyard Café in Sherston.

The route is challenging in places and is designed for mountain, gravel or CX bikes at least 32mm off-road tyres. This should not be attempted on a road bike!
