SUNDAY 5th SEPTEMBER. GreenWheel Peterborough, Car Assisted Ride

The Car Assisted ride starts at 10.00am Grid Ref. 52.521986 -0.305714 New Road, Norman Cross Peterborough.

Take the A1 to junction 16 Turn right off the slip road and cross the A1 towards Norman Cross on the A15.Almost immediately turn left on to New Road. Continue on New Rd. for about 1.5 miles. The road bears right then left  and becomes Haddon Road. You will see a number of large warehouses and a track disappearing into the distance. Pull into the track and onto the rough crass at the blocked entrance. This is our parking area.

The ride begins a few metres  back up New Road (NCR 21) and is on an outer circuit of Peterborough's Green Wheel. Taking in Hampton Vale, Farcet, Flag Fen, Eye, Crowland, WElland Dyke, Peakirk, Etton, Helpston, Ailsworth, Castor and Ferry Meadows. 

There are regular stops for tea/coffee and buns but I suggest you bring a drink and a snack for back up. The forecast is for Sun & Light Showers.
