Cycling UK’s Big Summer raffle is officially open - enter now!
- 1st prize: Carrera Vengeance bike with accessories plus Asgard Cycle Locker including delivery and additional wooden subfloor worth over £1,100
- 2nd prize: The Lazy Duck Safari Tent Basecamp (up to six) with a full day guided ride/Hot tub plus Stolen Goat/Flow Guiding branded jerseys worth over £938
- 3rd prize: 2 days 1-night Circular Self-Cycling Holiday in Mid-Suffolk from Cycle Breaks worth up to £480
Cycling UK, the UK’s leading cycling charity, has announced the dates of its annual Big Summer Raffle, running from 10 July until 25 September.
With over 19 prizes to win, and entry costing only £1, participants have a chance to win big without breaking the bank.
By purchasing raffle tickets, participants will be helping to support the charity’s efforts to get more people to cycle. Over the past few decades, Cycling UK has worked to encourage others to see the benefits of cycling, boosting the diversity of people who cycle and making cycling an even more positive experience. Since 2018 our incredible raffle players have generated more than £260,000 and we have turned over 60 people into winners.
The Cycling UK Summer raffle is open to anyone over the age of 18 in England, Scotland and Wales. If a ticket is sold unknowingly to, on behalf of, or for a person under the age of 18 he/she will be exempt from the raffle and will forfeit his/her prize and the stake will be returned.
Jenny Jackson, head of fundraising at Cycling UK, said:
“Our work is only made possible by the support of our passionate fundraisers and initiatives such as the Cycling UK Big Summer Raffle go a long way to helping fund our work. The money it raises goes towards vital projects, providing advice and information for cyclists, campaigning to make cycling more accessible and enable more people to cycle.
“Not only does taking part support a national movement to bring about happier, healthier and greener lives through cycling, but there’s also a chance you might win an amazing prize. There’s lots to win and we wish all those who take part good luck!”
People may purchase more than one ticket, but the most eager should note that the maximum number of tickets each person can purchase is one hundred (£100) per draw. Payment to enter the raffle must be made in advance of the draw date and online entries close at 11.59pm on 25 September 2024. Any entries received after closing will be treated as donations and will not be entered into the draw.
Winners will be selected at random, and the draw will take place on 30 September 2024. The winners will be notified by email or phone on or before 11 October 2024. If the winner is unable to confirm their details within one week of the draw closing, they will forfeit their prize in its entirety to an alternative winner. The names of the winners will be published on the Cycling UK website or Cycle magazine.
